Update

So, I think its fitting that our last post was January 14, the day Ethan really started walking. We haven't stopped or sat down much since then! :) Oh, the irony! New posts coming soon, January through August updates...promise!

Chores & Words

Ethan has started to say a few words here or there, he says "momo" which can be mom or more, "t_k", which means truck, "kk" which means car, and "yes"! The "yes" is sooo sweet! I actually caught it on video tonight, totally melts my heart. He has also started to do chores around the house...here he is feeding Koda. Gosh, I love this little boy!

Cake Smash! Celebrating Ethan's 1yr Birthday

What fun we had with Courtney Lindberg today! She set up a "cake smash" to celebrate Ethan's 1st year! After some more "formal" photos, we stripped E down to his diaper and sang happy birthday to him, and Courtney presented Ethan with a giant cake, just for him. And he certainly did enjoy it! We have been finding cake everywhere....for days and days! I will never forget this day.

A couple super cute photos of Ethan & his daddy! Oh, how he loves his daddy. He now cries when Sean leaves the room! Its sweet, but sad at the same time!

My first playhouse!

For my 1st birthday, mimi & papa got me a little playhouse, complete with a slide, ladder, table and pull-out chairs, and a phone! I just love it. (Thanks, daddy for putting it together for me! You're the best!)

Countdown until my FIRST birthday!

Today Ethan received his first official birthday gift! It was a giant package from Aunt Judy in Texas filled with books, balls, stuffed animals, clothes, and lots of my favorite snacks! Aunt Judy knew all of Ethan's favorite things!! Thanks Aunt Judy, but we really wish you were closer to celebrate in person. We love you!

Sunday School...no more nursery for me!

Today was a milestone, Ethan went to Sunday School! He doesn't need to be in the nursery or cry room anymore...he is not a baby! Sad day for mommy, but really proud of my little guy, who loved being with his friends at Sunday School.

Lanai here we come!

So this was our first trip to Lanai, where Ethan and I flew alone...never been so happy to see my parents once we landed! And apparently, once kids start walking, they don't want to sit still and sleep...never thought I would walk the isles of an airplane so many times. We had a great trip with mimi, papa and aunt judy! And our friends the Conrads were on the island too! We love playing with Haylynn and Sid! The weather was perfect, and the whales were out in full force! Amazing! We really didn't want to come home...except that we really missed daddy! Thankfully, mimi flew home with us, so mommy had some help!

Malia & Kai come to visit

This week Malia & Kai came to visit! It was so fun having an infant in the house again, they are so precious! We just loved our time with them...wish it was more often! Thanks for coming to visit us!
